A SIGN OF GROWTH: Sacred Heart Chapel Receives its Sign

The Brothers and Priests receive the sign for their Chapel.
AIM HIGHER! First Men's Retreat
January 24-26, 2020
SCTJM Brothers and Priests held their first men's retreat with seventeen participants. Father Joseph gave a talk and was available for confessions the whole retreat. Sr. Grace gave a talk on Our Lady. Iñigo gave two talks and guided the participants in the meditation of the Eucharistic cenacle. During this time, Father Joseph and Iñigo prayed for each young man and the Holy Spirit provided a specific word for each of them.

KEEP THE FLAME OF FAITH ALIVE: First Baptism Celebrated by Male Branch in Two Hearts Chapel

Saint Claude de la Colombier, Fr. Joseph celebrated his First Baptism as part of SCTJM Religious Brothers and Priests, in Miami. The child baptized was Lourdes Maria del niño Jesus Sanchez (Lulu), daughter of Rosita and Adrian. Iñigo served the Baptism.
A DAY FOR DREs: Archdiocesan Retreat for Directors of Religious Education

First time Brothers and Priests serve at the DRE Retreat. Father Joseph gave two talks, celebrated Mass, and heard confessions. Iñigo helped Sr. Karen, SCTJM.
CENTENARY OF ST. JACINTA MARTO
February 20, 2020
SCTJM celebrated the centenary of Jacinta Marto. Fr. Joseph celebrated Holy Mass and helped with confessions afterwards. Iñigo served the Mass and led the prayer for the Pope at the end of the rosary.
COME HOLY SPIRIT: SCTJM Brothers and Priests Serve First Confirmation Retreat

Brothers and Priests serve for the first time at the SCTJM Confirmation Retreat with 270 participants. Iñigo was part of the retreat team and gave a talk. Father Joseph celebrated Mass and was available for the sacrament of confession.

Fr. Joseph blessed the City of Miami and the whole world at 3:00 pm with the Blessed Sacrament from the balcony of the St. John Paul II Evangelization Center asking for protection for the Coronavirus for the first time.

AIM HIGHER: First Online Meeting

Our Aim Higher group had its first online meeting. This meeting was an opportunity to take some time to listen to the Lord, share as men, and grow in search of discovering the man that God created each of the young men [in attendance] to be.
WERE YOU THERE: First Holy Week and Easter
April 5-12, 2020
SCTJM Brothers and Priests celebrate their first Holy Week and Easter Celebrations in the Two Hearts Chapel. The Holy Oils are given to the Community for the first time. Archbishop Wenski also gave special permission to celebrate the Easter Vigil at the Convent.
PENTECOST, PAUL, AND THE POWER OF God: New Course by Fr. Joseph

Fr. Joseph began teaching a new course in the Veritatis Splendor Institute entitled: “Pentecost, Paul, and the Power of God.” The fully online course had 364 people registered and 241 who watched it live.

SCTJM Brothers and Priests united with the Bishops of the United States to Consecrate Our Nation to the Mary, Mother of the Church. Fr. Joseph presided over the ceremony transmitted live from Two Hearts Chapel.

This weekend, SCTJM held a retreat to consecrate both the Aim High and Arise Groups, so that all groups may be guided by Our Lady, in this Total Consecration, to reach many hearts.

Br. Iñigo Isla, SCTJM entered novitiate on the Memorial of St. Maximilian Kolbe.
"Our Lady was not only the Mother but the formator of such a great saint, teaching him (St. Maximilian) to choose love above all things, offering to him two crowns that he generously accepted: the white and the red crowns which symbolized the life-giving purity and the oblative love of the vocation to religious life which was being mystically engrraved in his heart at that moment."

SUNDAY LATINO NIGHT: Event at St. Thomas Univeristy

SCTJM Brother joined STU Campus Ministry for their Sunday Latino Night Event. This event began with the Celebration of Holy Mass and was followed by a concert of "The Call" with a Paella Social. This was a great opportunity to interact with the student community and engage with the youth.

NEW MISSION: Fr. Joseph Mary is Officially Hired, St. John Vianney College Seminary

Fr. Joseph is officially hired for the Spring Semester 2021 at St. John Vianney to teach the course "Introduction to the New Testament".
