The "Veritatis Splendor" Formation Institute belongs to the Religious Family of the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary. It was erected on October 22, 2018 - the Feast of St. John Paul II - who is the patron and spiritual father of this Institute.

The objective of creating this Institute was to form many hearts in the Word of God, the

Magisterium of the Church, the Legacy of St. John Paul II and in every dimension of doctrine and ecclesial life, making it accessible to priests, religious, and lay people. We want our courses to develop an integral formation where the Splendor of the Truth, who is Christ Himself, and His Gospel are known, understood more deeply, and lived fully. The Truth sets us free, illumines our whole being, our thinking, feeling, and acting; and at the same time, makes us grow in wisdom, in grace and in Christian and human maturity to be authentic disciples and apostles of Christ in this historic moment when we have been called to the great and urgent task of the New Evangelization.

To go out into the deep, impelled by the power of the Holy Spirit, we must be men and women of prayer and contemplation of the mysteries of Christ like the Blessed Virgin Mary, and at the same time, be intrepid apostles, like St. Paul, who assume with responsibility and joy the call to go out to the whole world and proclaim the Gospel. We understand that a solid, authentic, and healthy formation is fundamental to build a true spiritual life, a new culture with Christian values, and at the same time to enable us to be living witnesses of the Gospel and of all the treasures of the Church.

We consecrate the Veritatis Splendor Institute to Our Lady, Mother of the Church , so that She may teach us to guard and ponder the truth in our hearts and so accomplish the arduous and beautiful task of proclaiming the Splendor of Truth to the whole world. St. John Paul II, pray for us!!

The Veritatis Splendor Institute has been approved and endorsed by Archbishop Thomas Wenski, Metropolitan Archbishop of Miami, and is affiliated and partnered with St. John Vianney College Seminary and Graduate School. A certificate will be granted to each student upon the completion of the course, which is recognized by both the Vertitatis Splendor Institute and St. John Vianney College Seminary and Graduate School.

The Augustine Institute serves the formation of Catholics for the New Evangelization. Through our academic and parish programs, we equip Catholics intellectually, spiritually, and pastorally to renew the Church and transform the world for Christ.

The Augustine Institute joyfully embraces and proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ

through graduate classes, video productions, short courses, study programs, books, talks, and multimedia resources to help men and women to understand the Catholic Faith—and to live and share that faith with those whom the culture has abandoned to despair.

Inspired by St. Augustine of Hippo's approach to theology and evangelization, the Institute "is committed to the pursuit of wisdom in service of Christian mission." It describes its distance education program as taking place "through high-definition videos, live-streamed interactive course offerings, telephone calls, promptly answered emails, lively online discussion, and substantive feedback on assignments." The vision of distance education it proposes has been described as representing "creative fidelity to the Catholic tradition."
